Interest Groups Answer

Interest groups are formations that advance policies and programs to benefit its members. Depending on their resources, interest groups may become significant actors in politics. Example of interest groups are economic or business interest groups, public interest groups, single-issue groups and membership organizations. For economic or business groups, they are primarily interested in the advancement of favourable policies such as lesser business restriction and taxation as well as the provision of tax incentives and subsidies. An example of an economic/business interest group is the Restaurant Opportunities Center (ROC).
