The United States practices two types of democracy–Indirect Democracy (aka republicanism or representative democracy) and Direct Democracy.

 

Define both Direct and Indirect Democracy.

Direct democracy is the process through which the people participate in making law through the ballot. The pro of direct democracy is that it is the epitome of democracy because it maximizes the participation of the majority of the masses in governance.
