Fifi Abdou is an Egyptian dancer and an actress who rose to fame in the Seventies and the Eighties. She is well known as the best Egyptian belly dancer and she was popular not only in Egypt but across the world especially in the dancing community. Her artistry is based on how she used traditional and modern techniques in belly dancing, and also on how she solidified the persona of the dancer as a performer. Her art made her one of the best Egyptian dancers of the century and is an influence on various dancers around the world.
