State Government Answer

What does Daniel Elazar’s political culture theory states? And explain the differences between his three political cultures?
According to Daniel Elazar, the United States can be classified into three political cultures; namely: moralistic, individualistic and traditionalistic cultures. These cultures are a result of the migratory patterns of the people who settled in the US. These people have different political and religious values and views. In moralistic cultures (New England, northern portion of the Midwest and West and along the West Coast), the goal of the government is to advance society and the general welfare.
