One advantage of direct communication is that it is usually straight and to the point, making it easier for the recipient to understand. It also guarantees immediate feedback/response, as was the case with Savitri since her wishes were granted immediately. It also helps to save time and resources, as opposed to using indirect communication. Regarding disadvantages, such directness maybe be perceived as rude, offensive, or emotionally insensitive. In some circumstances, using direct communications may impede the targeted outcome of the message, especially if it generates a conflict.
