Discussion 7 Answer

The main point of this week’s reading is focused on the sampling methods for the selection of respondents or participants for a research study; this is important because research is a systematic and empirical-based process, including the selection process. According to Neuman (2020), sampling methods comprise of two categories, probability and non-probability sampling methods, wherein the two differ with the methods applied. Specifically, probability sampling methods utilize formulas and sampling frames to select the respondents while non-probability sampling methods do not utilized these abovementioned features.
