In this week’s reading, Neuman (2020) focused on the significance of historical-comparative research, a research that enables the observation and analysis of different cases within a long time. According to Neuman (2020), four different types of evidence are the main sources where historical-comparative research gains sources, which are the primary sources, secondary sources, running records, and recollections. Another feature of this kind of research is its ability to create comparisons of cultures, societies, historical events, and other parts of histories that will contribute to a certain field or subject matter under investigation.
