Federalism Answer
In this article, leaders convened in Glasgow, Scotland to discuss strategies for addressing climate change. Delegates from developing countries adversely affected by climate change such as Maldives raised the contention that if countries fail to agree on concrete steps to address climate chance, it would be too late for her country, which has been experiencing rising tides in recent years. The summit, however, failed to produce a binding resolution imposing concrete measures and sanctions for countries to work together to limit the rise in global temperature within 1.5 degrees from the pre-industrial level.
