In line with the fulfillment of one’s resume, it has been a tradition that one should include at least two to three credible references in one’s resume as a character check. However, due to the rapid modernization of hiring processes, character references seem to be neglected. I agree that most of the persons listed in the reference section have been oriented on what will answer once the company calls them to do a character check. It’s like most of them will tell something good about you to make you hired in the company
