The original research “A Systematic Review on the Use of Psychosocial Interventions in Conjunction with Medications for the Treatment of Opioid Addiction” by Dugosh et al (2016) explored the literature and existing data on the use of psychosocial interventions in collaboration with medications towards treating opioid use. According to the original research, there is little empirical research data and literatures that would point out to the effectiveness and efficiency of psychosocial interventions.
