How do you learn best?  For example, some people find that they need to read the directions first and then try to put something together. Others like to just jump in and try to figure it out. They actually learn by doing and by trial and error.  What about you?  Think about when you have been most effective in learning something new. What was it like? Is it the same as most of your school experience? How or how not?

Learning in the midst of a pandemic is difficult. Switching from a typical classroom with a face-to-face instructor to computer-based instruction in a virtual classroom has completely changed my learning experience. It is also hard for me sometimes to keep up with my virtual classmates due to a lack of sufficient bandwidth or a robust internet connection required for online courses.
