  In the United States of America and other countries, the healthcare system provides options of either managed care plans or fee-for-service health plans or both; in this matter, healthcare insurance coverage like Medicaid provide the necessary healthcare services. Fee-for-service health plans refer to healthcare services with direct payment based on the services and facilities rendered upon the request of the patient or necessitated by the physician/hospital (Kern et al, 2020).
