Prompt #7

Let’s discuss the topic of digital audio and it’s emergence in the early 1980’s.  This module might have been titled “The Digital Era Begins.”  Digital technologies, including digital audio recording, the CD, M.I.D.I, the personal computer, the Internet, and digital streaming services like Spotify, have profoundly changed every aspect of music – how we create it, store it, distribute it, and “own it.”

My question is “what are your preferred ways of listening to music these days?

When listening to music, I’m really after diversity. So, I would just go to YouTube and search for compilation of various genres such as folk, rock, folk rock, and country. The selection of genre really depends on my mood.
