1. Describe the contradiction of the Kimball datawarehouse architecture versus Inmon datawarehouse architecture approaches. Identify when each one would be more useful, the technical design and patterns – and tell me which one you would prefer and when.

Each paper has to have several sections:
1. An abstract (e.g.“ The use of agile in databases is a necessary evil because…”)
2. A summarization of what you learned from industry’s papers
3. A paragraph or two that will describe in essence your arguments ( e.g. “agile is fast-changing and databases are rigid”, “…..”,”……”)
4. Develop your arguments with examples and samples and some industry data- whether using other sources or with anecdotal evidence. Please, provide references using MLA notation
5. Conclude
6. References
The length of the paper – three-four pages double spaced – you can have more but it has to be substance.There are some references on Kimball vs. Inmon on Wikipedia – use those from the respectable institutions such as academia and notable industry experts! Not the magazine articles. The Chief Architect of IBM is notable industry expert, an architect with credentials and hopefully some scientific publications and certifications – or at least master degree – is a notable expert.
