What are the two main types of creation myths?

The two main types of creation myths are evolutionary creation myths and devolutionary creation myths. Evolutionary creation myths show an evolution, or improvement in stages in the story of the process of creation and what are created. That is, from a state of chaos or neutrality towards a better, more organized or ordered state of creation. On the other hand, devolutionary creation myths show a devolution, degradation, decline, or turning for the worse in stages in the story or process of creation and what are created. That is, from a perfect or good state, towards a state of chaos or negativity.
