Postpartum women exhibited physiologic changes in their reproductive systems. Gaurav Chauhan and Prasanna Tadi (2020) gave details on these physiologic changes of the reproductive systems in postpartum women. According to them, these postpartum women would undergo the process of involution. This process proposed that the reproductive organs of postpartum women would return “to their pre–pregnant condition and health problems” (Spelke & Erika Werner, 2018, p. 30). The uterus and the placental position of postpartum women would contract fast to avert further blood loss. Of course, the rapid uterine contraction would lead to their abdominal cramps after childbirth. The uteri of these postpartum women would show their increased tones. They would begin to feel firm and weigh 1000 grams.
