As an intern at the county health center, I know that no matter what the day maybe, an optimistic mindset will give me enough strength to overcome any difficulty. I learn best through experience and constant exposure to handling phone calls and dealing with people with different beliefs and perspectives on the pandemic. Sweitzer and King (2019, p. 121) pointed out that high quality learners are versatile and adept at identifying, responding, and solving problems. When I was younger, it was easy for me to become defensive and irate when people criticize my work. Now, I am confident that things will go smoothly and that there will always be a solution to any problem. If needed, I can ask my supervisor to help intervene and provide additional advice on the best approaches to handle difficult clients.
