Many factors impact patient care and one of these is a shortage of healthcare workers. Before the pandemic, there is already an increasing shortage of nurses in hospitals all over the globe. It is essential to create an intervention for this problem as many people need nurses due to the increasing demand for inpatient care. One of the studies in determining the association between care left undone and temporary nursing staff ratios was conducted by (Senek et al., 2020) observing the acute settings. The researchers made this research possible by collecting data through surveys from registered nurses.
