Discussion 8 : Epigenetics & human health Answer

In order to minimize diseases and disorders resulting from epigenetic changes to our cells, we must adopt healthy lifestyle habits. Smoking and stress are two examples of factors that can cause epigenetic change to our cells through lesser methylation. Normal cells exhibit a high level of methylation as observed in babies, in contrast to low level of methylation found in the elderly.
