Discussion 8 : Ethics/Legal

Morality needs to be the foundation of a business’ structure. Ethics are guidelines and boundaries that keep business dealings from violating policies or laws. While there is no perfect system, the establishment of these principles serves to control the effects of any infractions that may arise in the workplace. Competition and conflicts of interests between employees are two examples of circumstances that lead to ethical issues. Given your work history as a manager, do you have any experience in dealing with ethical violations? How should managers encourage and integrate ethical practices into the workplace culture?

Discussion 8 : Ethics/Legal Answer

As I have experience in my past employment, our company had initiated an Annual Ethical Training and Certification on all employees regardless of how many years of service. In addition, all the employees must possess the Code of Conduct manual, read and understand its content to make sure that they are guided in the organizations’ code of ethics
